Delete your account

Science of Compliance app, provided by LCS Project Solutions Ltd

You can ask for your Science of Compliance account and its associated data to be deleted at any time, in either of the ways below.

Option 1: in the app

1. Open the Science of Compliance app and sign in.
2. Tap your name and Account at the top right of the home screen.
3. Scroll to Delete account, tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away. If you are your company’s only administrator and others are still in the team, make someone else an administrator on the Team page first.

Option 2: by email

1. Email support@scienceofcompliance.co.uk from the email address you use to sign in.
2. Use the subject “Delete my account”, and include your name and company name.
3. We will reply to confirm the request, then delete the account within 30 days.

You do not need the app installed to use this option.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in details: name, email address, password and account ID.
• Your profile details, such as the phone number shown on reports.
• Your membership of your company and any pending invitations.

What is kept, and for how long

• Company reports: reports, photos and audits saved to the cloud belong to your company, so they stay with it. Your name remains on reports you prepared, as part of the company’s records. They are deleted when the company closes its account, within 90 days of closure.
• Data on your phone: reports, photos and recordings stored on your phone stay there until you delete them or delete the app.
• Backups: copies in our database backups are deleted on a rolling basis by our database provider.
• Security log: a record that the account was deleted, and when, is kept in our security log.
• Legal records: records we must keep by law, such as billing records, are kept only for as long as the law requires.

Recordings and documents uploaded for transcription or an audit are not stored in the cloud. They are deleted from our server once processed. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Closing a company account

A company administrator can close the whole company account, including its reports, by emailing support@scienceofcompliance.co.uk. We will make its reports available to download for 30 days, then delete its data within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
